ABOUT / SAMUEL DAHUNSI

Samuel Dahunsi - software engineer across products, platforms & proofs.

I build production software from user-facing products and backend infrastructure down to payment protocols and zero-knowledge systems.

CURRENT WORK

DevRel & Backend Engineer at QuikDB

At QuikDB, I work across backend and product capabilities, container deployment tooling, operational workflows, technical documentation, and developer onboarding for community-powered cloud infrastructure.

That role reflects the way I like to work: close enough to the system to build and debug it, and close enough to its users to understand where the developer experience breaks down.

TECHNICAL DEPTH

Two complementary tracks

My product-engineering work spans TypeScript, Node.js, Go, React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, Docker, OpenTelemetry, and production observability. I have shipped SaaS interfaces, backend APIs, deployment workflows, developer tooling, and reliability infrastructure.

My protocol work focuses on privacy and cryptographic systems: Rust, Solidity, Clarity, Noir, Soroban, zero-knowledge proofs, confidential computation, sumcheck, GKR, and polynomial commitments.

BACKGROUND

Mathematics, engineering, and teaching

I earned a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Obafemi Awolowo University. That background continues to shape how I approach cryptography, proof systems, correctness, and technical explanation.

I also teach zero-knowledge and cryptography concepts, speak about blockchain careers and developer infrastructure, and translate complex systems into material that developers can actually use.

In 2026, I mentored zero-knowledge students through a three-week Web3Bridge program, represented QuikDB at Web Summit Qatar, and spoke about QuikDB at Ethereum Hub in Lagos. I previously mentored teams in the 2023 and 2024 Technovation Girls competitions.
